The challenge

Plus Dane Group needed to produce and implement a strategy to put efficiency, compliance and value for money at the heart of the Group’s spending activity.
With a new Procurement function set up and limited resource available, it made sense for Plus Dane Group, a leading provider of 18,000 homes across Merseyside and Cheshire to call in the support of Housing Procurement Consultancy expertise.
Following a rigorous procurement process, Plus Dane Group chose to work with Service Matters because of our extensive work in the sector and the fresh thinking and support we could bring through our innovative approach to Procurement and Spend Analysis.

What we did

Using our innovative approach we set out a plan to create a Procurement strategy that involved key stakeholders from across the business. We met with each stakeholder to understand their requirements and involvements with Procurement. 
To help with the future plans we also conducted a spend analysis to make it easy as possible to deliver Procurement efficiencies by categorising suppliers and analysing historical spend.
