We worked with Pioneer Group with a focus on developing a strategic approach to asset management alongside implementing a more efficient approach to supplier management.
Retaining a strong community focus, the Group had a number of contractors and wanted to bring a number of cyclical redecoration contracts under one contractor to improve their communities and enable efficient delivery of their vision, values and strategic goals. They turned to Service Matters to support them with Procurement expertise after a previous customer recommended our services.

What we did
Our engaging discovery approach enabled us to quickly and efficiently produce an options appraisal and provide recommendations for the best way to deliver this Procurement process. We then facilitated the project and worked in partnership to involve residents at all stages to procure a cyclical decoration works contracts.
We helped to identify social value benefits and procured a supplier that offered training and employment opportunities in the form of a dedicated apprentice over the term of the contract, resident work placements and community involvement.
